I have a few concerns about paying the renewal of my license in NM BON. They accept credit cards right? The only card written there are visa and master card. I'm using my aunt's credit card which is " discovery card" do u have any idea if that is acceptable? and I still have one question. Since I'm using her card, the renewal form requires valid signature. My auntie is in the states and I'm in Philippines, is it allowed that I will be the one to sign it in the renewal form? the new mexico nurses association is the approval body for continuing education and you need to contact them at 505-471-3324. that's the reply i received from them, just awhile ago...not really clear, it's true....

medscape.com is offering free CEU, but I'm not sure if, it is honored by the BON where you registered.. I'm trying to contact my BON if they are approving it..

Really?? I'm happy to hear that! Bon would accept CE from any free website? They would honor that? I've read in the New mexico BON site just awhile ago, that they will not accept any CE as long as it is approved by the BON. So, meaning it should be honored and accredited by them. I'm confused, because, there are CE that are so expensive, like Narcotics for just 3.5 contact hrs and pay $49. That's quiet expensive, right? So would you go for it, or take for it free? But the question is, would the BON approve it, if you would go for free sites? Are they gonna honor it when you renew your license.. I will renew my license soon. This coming August, I didn't know there's a deadline for submission of that stuff... Grrrr!!! We are required 30 hrs of CEU for RNs.. The question, netce.com offers a low prices of CE compared to other website like learningext.com its actually NCSBN site too. Is netce.com which is offering CE for all healthcare Professional accredited by the BON? Specifically MN BON? Or are they gonna honor the free site of CE like medscape.com? Try www.learningext.com. They offer CEus there, actually it's under ncsbn. But it's not for free. Try to check it out for more info. And by the way, that site is approved by all BON states. Thanks God bless

About renewing the license, we need to complete 30 hrs of approved CE, right? I'm just confused about certified nurse practitioners, and clinical nurse specialist must complete a total 50 hrs of CE. What do u mean by this? Does this mean that we need to 50 hrs all in all??? Pls help!!! Your reply would be appreciated... God bless us all!

I haven't received my New Mexico license through mail. I took my exam last yr of August and I passed. I'm worried coz until now, I didn't received it in my mail yet..I emailed the new Mexico BON already and submitted a request for duplication, they said it will take 2 weeks to process, but until now its not here yet.
