Quiet Places To Study Late ?
Hi all! Just trying to figure out a quiet place (that is open kinda late) where I can study. The libraries seem to close fairly early, and I am distracted in places like coffee shops. I live in the SF Bay area in California... any suggestions? Thanks VERY much!

Age you will/were graduated?
Woo hoo! I'll be 48 when I graduate in Spring 2010! I don't think I was really ready for a nursing career in my life until now

Timed test anxiety
Hi all! I am just about to embark upon taking the TEAS test to finalize my entrance into my first choice of nursing programs (May 7). I've always had a problem with test anxiety... especially when the tests are timed. With the added stress of only having one chance to pass this test, I'm afraid that even with proper preparation, I might still have problems. Any advice out there for managing your time when taking timed tests that are so crucial? Thanks a bunch! Luckylin:heartbeat

I got accepted!!
Way to go!!! Yes, the hard work certainly pays off in the end (and we're in for MUCH more from what I hear!). I just got accepted by a second school (so, I got accepted to both schools I applied to... this is my 2nd year trying) Now I have to make a decision! I guess I'll be doing up one of those "pros & cons" lists to figure it out. I also have past lab partners in each program, so I should be able to get some helpful feedback there. If it's your first year trying, and you don't get in...DON'T DESPAIR!! Your time will come, have faith and believe that you already have it. That's how I made it work this time. CONGRATS AGAIN!!!

Age question
It's never too late! I am 46 (will be 49 when I finish the 2 year nursing program), and I'm up for the challenge! You just have to keep a really positive attitude, and know that you can do anythng you put your mind to. Also, I agree with what many replied regarding life experience... In so many ways I am glad to be doing this after having lived this many years and experienced so much. YOU GO GIRL!! Linda
