I am going to a LPN program this fall, I want to bridge as soon as it is over to ADN program. I know of KCKCC and Park. I do not want to go to KCKCC, to many pre requs that have to be taken and it is to many. I want to go to park, but they only take 40 people. I want to hear from any of you who went to Park and how hard it was to get in. I also want to know of ANY OTHER RN/ADN bridge programs. HELP PLEASE!!
I just tested into a LPN program at Northland Center, it is 11,000 for the LPN and is about 10 month program. After that I am planning on going to Park for there RN bridge program. It is also 10 months and it is 18,000. As a LPN you are going to have a hard time finding a job to offset that much cost, unless you do LTC.
I am still in school as well, but before going back to get my RN I had been a MA for many years. I worked in Peds for about 2 years and love it. I have had a child in NICU and know what it is like to be on the other side, I went back to school with that in mind. My goal is to work in the NICU. I love babies and kids, and even when they are ill they are so much happier than adults:) I watch the local Childrens hospital webpage and they have grad nurse positions all the time. At this time they have 7. It can be done and I too am so excited to get there
I had mine today and worked so hard on the math, and it was not to bad. I got a good grade with it. I did the reading test, and got a 90 on two parts and a 70 on the other. I have to have 80 on every thing, so I have to retake the reading. I have never had any issue with reading, but I worked on math and did not study the other at all
