Hi! Have you taken any other test? I was wondering how it compared to the Teas? Also, did yhe calculator help alot with the math? And did you study the Kaplan study guide? Any suggestions for preparing? Sorry so many ????'s! Thank you!

I ran out of time on the math AGAIN!!! Had to guess on about 10. Hopefully my bubbling skills are good! LOL! Checking ATI like crazy!!! Post updates! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!

I have been out of school since 96. I didn't have algerbra, chem, or bio. (I had my daughter my last year as well.) I had to start from scratch!! I am talking Math 02, then 03, and just finished 120. I also had Bio 101 in the spring 08, and chem this past fall. A&P 161..just finished with a A! I REALLY didn't think I needed the manual. I am horrible at Math! I struggled with 02, and 03. It just doesnt click with me. Now once I get it..I LOVE it! I did finish Mth 120 last week with a B! I am surprised. I just for some reason can't remember all those freaking formulas. Anyways...lol! Now that I have the study guide and have taken the test, I really feel the manual is very close to the questions on the test. I can almost say some of the review is identical to the actual test. I did well in the english and reading. The science 66.7%! So I am study where my weak areas were on the test. When do you take the TEAS? I can let you borrow my study guide if you want. I won't need it after tomorrow. Okay, I have rambled enough. Back to studying!

Has anyone been allowed more time for the Teas test if you have ADHD? I took it once and did well on everything but the math. Scored 57% needed 60%!!! I knew how to do the problems but I ran out of time and to guess on a lot of them. I am scared to ask my school because I don't want them to judge me. I am scheduled tot take it again tomorrow morning. I have been studying a lot and I feel more prepared. But the time on the math scares me! Thanks

I am taking my pre-reqs there now. (Almost done thank God!) I applied to Bon Secours because they have evening classes. I wanted to go to Reynolds because it's quicker, not as many classes and close to home. I agree with beachmedic..I have heard they have a high turnover as far as instructors, which means they cannot accept many students. Therefore, it is very hard to get into the program. Good luck with you nursing career.

You have to have a 60. I just took algerbra too. I knew how to do the problems, I just ran out of time. Its frustrating but I am determined! Good luck. I rescheduled it for May 28. I was soooo close. I wanna do better than 60 though. I will be more prepared this time.

They told me that they would offer nights or days after we were accepted. She also said it would not take the whole 60 days. She said more like 30. Good luck to everyone. Keep us updated!

Took the TEAS. Waiting for the results. I don't think they are good. I ran out of time on the math. I had to guess on like 10 questions.

I didn't think anyone else out there felt this way!!!! My ex fiance left me last June after 4 years!!! I had just started my pre-reqs that fall. Now I am waiting for my letter, to start NS this fall. The sad thing...I just turned 31. It's been a struggle with the non-nursing classes to find time to have a social life. I have pretty much decided I am not going to date until I finish school. I will be 33-34! So if I met someone after, good God...lol..I will not be married until I am like 35!!! I do have a daughter that is 14 (I was 16). So I don't want kids. I guess that's in my favor. When I date someone I have always fell hard for them, wanting to be with them all the time. Guess I shouldn't leave the house fo a few years!!! Good luck to all!!!:redbeathe

the only thing i am taking online is intro to physc ,and ethics. i am taking mth120 online now and that is really easy. i would never attempt a science class online..lol. i did not know about the micro bio. i work for vcu at the dental school, so i will take it here for free if i have too! i can't handle another chem class! i live in varina! so we are close. i lived in shortpump as well for 5 years before moving back and buying a house. yes, it is a big adjustment… but, much cheaper. my prof i have is really good as well. i have heard that the professor i will have this summer for 162 is really good.
