First of all, I wanted to say thank you for reading my post and replying! The Hesi exit exam was harder than expected. Approximately 50% of the people in my class passed. However, we have not had any other exams like that so we kinda didnt know where we stood when we went into it. I know some schools take several Hesi exams throughout the year. However, we just had this one exit exam. It asked some maternity, pediatrics, psych questions as well as ALOT of fundamentals questions such as catheter care, delegation, scope of practice for LPN, personal protective equipment, shaving a man, etc. There wasn't a whole lot of Med-Surg questions. I think where I messed up was that I was able to narrow each question down to two answers. I ended up choosing the second best answer most of the time. Oh well, hopefully I will do better the second time and pass! I think a lot of people are pretty disappointed and discouraged because they thought they would do better that what they did.
