Does anyone attend Career Training Solutions in Fredericksburg?
I'm looking for students that have attended or currently attend Career Training Solutions. I saw some posts from a few years ago, but nothing recent. Can you please tell me what the program is like? What the schedule is? What the time frame is for graduation? Where the clinicals are? I'm looking to hear about either LPN or RN. Thanks!

New BSN program-no accreditation yet?
I agree with Moogie. If they've petitioned already they will probably have the accreditation before you graduate. If they hadn't petitioned, that would be a different story and I would say NO!!

No prenatal care?!
- No prenatal care?!
I'd be willing to bet it has something to do with not having any health insurance. I lost my job when I was pregnant and was able to obtain state insurance until I became employed again, but not everyone knows about it and where I live you have to wait months for an appt at a free clinic.- Is putting 'BSN' on badge snobbish?
PhD is different because it's the highest leve you can obtain (along side other doctorates)- Is putting 'BSN' on badge snobbish?
Zookeeper..the difference is that PHD is a title and BSN and MSN both are not titles they are degrees, therefore should not go behind your name. I have a MBA and a PHR and used PHR behind my name, but not MBA because it is not a title.- Is putting 'BSN' on badge snobbish?
I don't think it's snobbish at all, but I don't think that it is proper protocol to put your degree behind your name. I find it very strange actually and feel like this practice has only happened in the last couple of years in various fields. BSN is not a title, it is a degree and only titles go behind a persons name. RN, FNP, CRNA, PHD, DNP etc etc...something that is a title should go behind your name on an email, badge, etc. Every time I see someone with BSN, MSN, MSN student, MSED behind their name on an email signature I just shake my head because it looks ridiculous.- Do you mention past disciplinary action on application?
^^^^ THIS- Can anyone give me an idea of how much financial aid I can receive?
Your quote from the school seems about right. FAFSA determines which grants you qualify for and your school will automatically give them to you. This year the max is $5500 for pell. I made 19k last year, have one child and I received $19k in loans and $5500 in pell and my school has their own grant that they gave which was $1000.- Can a CNA get a job as a MA?
^^^^This You can work as a medical assistant without even being a CNA if they are willing to train you. Some places want a MA Certifcation and others don't ask for one.- Can anyone give me an idea of how much financial aid I can receive?
If you are married they will include your husband's income as well. If you google financial aid estimators there are a lot of calculators that you can use.- The start of a career in nursing!
I wish I had some advice, but I am looking as well. Good luck to you and don't give up!- Does it matter where your degree came from?
This is incorrect. My nursing program is not accredited by the NLN or the CCNE yet and our graduates have taken the NCLEX RN and are working. Some of them are also in BSN programs. The only approval neccesary is from the state. - No prenatal care?!
