NELRP Help, I too am interested in applying for the amendment year. Will DHHS contact us to give us the option or do we have to anticipate contacting DHHS in the second year? Also, I am expecting my first child in January. Will three months of maternity leave mean I have to prolong my contract or worse yet, suspend it? Thank you again for taking the time to respond to all of us. Sully, Congratulations! I too am 5 months pregnant and a little nervous about the maternity leave. I thought I read on the contract that you have 3 months of a leave before you have to extend it. I decided not to stress about it because I will do what I have to for the baby even if that means extending the contract. But that decision was just to keep my sanity. I spoke with Sallie Mae today and they stated that they received a phone call on April 27th requesting my payoff amount. I am trying to avoid getting worked up about it so I don't comment much but I know there were some worries about Sallie Mae not being contacted, so I wanted to share. Good luck to all of us!

No, mine did not change. Bummer! My debt-to-income ratio is 250%. I was hoping I had a good chance. I'm looking for any signs but it's not happening so far. It may be a good sign that yours did! Good luck!

lkmrn, I am one of those anxiously awaiting a sign that I may be a recipient this year. I went to the HRSA website to review the status of my application and I can't find it. In other words, I can log in but haven't been able to navigate the site to see if any part of my application has changed, like you saw the dates changed under the qualifying loan page. Before I panic that I can't access my application, can you tell me how to you to review your application? Do you have a link? I printed out that confirmation receipt I received right after I submitted so I assume I just not finding the link. Thanks in advance!

Hi all! I will be graduating May 14th. I have a commitment abroad in June and therefore eager to take the Nclex by June 20th. I live in NY and have been assured by the University that I will probably not get the ATT by that date. This is in part because the University takes a long time to send the information to the NY BON. I am willing to apply to other states in order to get the ATT sooner...ideally mid-June. Does anyone have any secrets as to which states process their Nclex applications/ATTs quickly? I figure the sooner I get my ATT, the sooner I will be able to take the exam Finding the information isn't easy. Taking the exam in New Jersey would be great but I haven't been able to make contact with anyone at the BON. Any insight into which states I should consider is tremendously appreciated.
