I think everyone should have gotten offered a spot at this point :) It seems a lot of Carolina final decisions were made last week considering folks I've talked to. Regardless, now it's down to weighing options... hmm. Best wishes everyone!

Thanks OBX. That makes me feel a lot better. There's one commonality in your places and my own - all are divisibles of my own - 24. I was told 60+ on the list though. Perhaps the commonality will carry on into my getting pulled as well. However, I did get the tidbit from her that they haven't had as many declines... as opposed to when, who knows. I'm sure there will always be those who may accept (for "security" with it being their first acceptance or an earlier response) then decline for perhaps financial or regional issues among others. We'll see... as we wait :) Good job thus far making the interview cut and waitlist as apparently there have indeed been a number of eliminations. Thanks all. Best wishes!

Oh okay. Well, I will say I interviewed Feb. 8, the last date. I once heard someone say, "no news isn't [necessarily] bad news." :)

Wow. From what I recall (at last year's open house) the class was of 40 then. Perhaps they cut the numbers or I'm just wrong :-X. Then, they said they'd had about 100 apps for the previous year. Things change and I think the program is gaining popularity around here so you never know. The odds seem better @ Duke with those numbers :-X Best wishes!

Good luck at your interview OBX & Congrats Enzo. First my app. was held up in the grad. school but it now being forwarded. I hope I'm just a little behind in the process, but not counted out.

Well, today could be the day they send notification to "accepted" students . Had the "accepted" students posted on boards like this first, that might've left the rest wondering or assuming rejection... maybe they're saving the "best" news for last if you want to look at it that way. Stay faithful everyone!

OBXlovr, I'm in the same boat as you. I say stay optimistic!!! :-D One of the tour guides shared that she was on the waitlist until just 2 weeks before class; point is, she still got in! Let's maintain faith
