  1. i'm sorry too. thank you.
  2. I took the exam yes. I didn't pass.
  3. whopper - I know how frustrating this can be. I am soon going to test for the 3rd time. You are right with keeping the positive attitude --- that is the way to get you through this hard hard time. Relax for a couple days before going back to studying. Good luck and don't give up!!
  4. I can't agree with you more ira! I think the people who fail once or even several times become invested in nursing even more than they already were and more determined than ever. I also think those people will work harder to keep that license because it was such a struggle to get in the first place...I know when I received my license I will treasure it and hold it close to my heart because of all the work I've done trying to pass the NCLEX-RN. :redpinkhe
  5. I felt like crap coming out of the NCLEX-RN the previous 2 times I have taken it. It is a super hard test that makes you feel HORRIBLE! I understand how you feel. Keep your head up and try to stay positive. Good luck!
  6. I bought mine at Borders...Barnes & Noble probably has it too....Amazon.com might also?
  7. You're very welcome! I am addicted to allnurses.com! :typing
  8. Read the sticky at the top of the NCLEX forum! It will have all the info in there that you need. If you still have questions, let anyone on this website know...I'm sure you will find all your answers!!! I am completing Suzanne's plan right now and it's helping a lot. Good luck! :)
  9. I have taken the NCLEX twice and studied with Kaplan both times. I didn't pass. I am now onto Saunder's and currently completing Suzanne's plan and it's helping me a lot!! I like Saunder's because the book is easy to understand and their question bank is HUGE (bigger than Kaplan). Also, I like their style of writing for their book -- outline form...only the most important stuff is there which is good for me! The CD that comes with the book is also very helpful. It was the best $40 I've spent (also cheaper than Kaplan). I do have to agree with LVdreamer above -- Kaplan does seem to rely heavily on their decision tree and strategies which I could never grasp myself. Most of the time I would be too into trying to remember how to use their decision tree and then totally forget the purpose of the question I was answering. Some people have success with Kaplan...some do not. Everyone forms their own opinions!! Continue doing research and you'll figure out which one is right for you. Good luck. :)
  10. Wow this was so inspiring for me!! Thank you for what you said...because I totally agree with EVERYTHING you said -- I have tested twice and have yet to pass. You hit it right on the head!! :bowingpur
  11. I understand how you feel! I just got back from homecoming weekend back at my university and I saw a lot of people I haven't seen since I graduated college and they ALL asked me where I was working, what I was doing, am I a nurse yet?? I just told them the truth because I don't like to lie about this stuff but I did feel bad while telling them! Just keep your head up and continue on with life...you have a new day everyday! You aren't alone!!
  12. Thank you for these quotes ira! These are very true and are inspiring. :)
  13. Remember you are not alone. I am in the same boat as you so I know how it feels to be disappointed, angry, upset, hurt, sad, frustrated, etc. Keep your head up and try not to give up if you really want this!! :)
  14. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has responded to my post!! I am working on raising my confidence and knowing that I CAN pass this test! Everytime I feel myself thinking negatively, I stop myself and work on positive thinking instead. Thank you all very much...I really do appreciate it! I am on my way to becoming an RN! WOO!
