  1. I went through an accelerated LPN-RN program you should do fine in the program as long as you are willing to do the studying and leave the partying behind until you are finished. Being male can help but some times does not. I had a great LPN program who loved the male students but the RN program was totally different.
  2. I am getting ready to graduate from FNP school in a few more months. I have talked with preceptor who have said they will not take on NP students who were not nurses first because they are not willing to teach you the basics before teaching you the advanced skills. NPs are Nurses who have advanced their skills from the basic nursing but without the basic nursing knowledge it is much harder to advance to the next level.
  3. I am a FNP student learning standardized procedures can anyone sent me a standardized procedure for abdominal pain or acute abdominal pain chronic abdominal pain? I am trying to figure out what a finished one should look like or how to get started on doing procedures. Thank you to anyone who can help me and thanks to any one who will take some time to assist me.
