Tnx aelith for the info... I only have 6 months of training experience. What state would accept my training experience? If I'm not mistaken I read from earlier post that its either queensland or victoria. Im also concerned of how much money will I need to all this process, including the application and bridging program until I can finally work as a nurse? Will I be able to find a part time job in australia/ NZ while this process is on going? And will it suffice for all my expenses? Tnx a lot.. Sorry for having too many questions and if this has been answered earlier.

Hi everyone. Im a registered nurse in the Phils for 2 years now but unfortunately I haven't been able to find a job. I have already passed the NCLEX exam but I only have 6 months hospital training. Im currently taking up my masters degree which I will finish (hopefully) by march 2010. I also plan to take the IELTS by the end of this year or early next year. I stumbled upon this thread because I plan to work abroad after finishing my masters degree. I find this thread very informative and working in Australia really interest me. Can you guys help me on what papers should I prepare, where i should send it and can I forward my application even without the IELTS exam? thank you very much

And for 2 weeks now I have researching about the said topic, but unfortunately I have come up with only a few resources. To cope up with this, I decided to add in my report a survey (opinions) of nurses regarding self governance in our profession. I kindly ask for everyone's help in this matter. I welcome all opinion no matter how small it may be. So here are the questions... 1. What do you know about the history of the Nursing profession's struggle for autonomy? 2. How would you compare the hospital organization in the past and in the present in terms of nurses' self governance? 3. What are the hindrances affecting self governance in nursing? 4. How can self governance in nursing be improved? 5. What are the repercussions of self governance of nursing in the practice? 6. helow everyone... i want to inquire if anyone knows where i can find an IV training this MARCH... anywhere in metro mla area as long as it is ANSAP accredited i really need it URGENT.. because I needed it to employ in a hospital.. i already inquired at PHC and they told me that there are no available slots for the IVT in march 11-13 thank you very much :)
