  1. Hi! I am going to NYU for their accelerated fall program...does anyone know about what times classes are and when clinics start? Also, are clinics on the weekends? Thanks!
  2. That's awesome!! I'm coming from PA i'm going to live right in greenwich village...RENT is CRAZY and the apartment is the size of a closet lol. But, it's an amazing location!!
  3. hi! I sent in my check yesterday to NYU so I am def going there! YAYY so keep me updated if you're going !! Do any of you know when the clinic starts??
  4. Hi, I am currently a senior Biology major...I would say being involved probably helped me a lot...I am the president of both pre-medical society and the Biology club. I am also a member of the biology honors society. I volunteered in the ER assisting nurses all this year. I volunteered with children and also in a retirement home. My GPA wasn't that great it's a 3.4 but my junior and senior year I got 3.8 both years..so my freshman year and soph year is what brought me down. Hope that helps! good luck!
  5. I got in YESTERDAY!!!! yayyyyy !!! Good luck to everyone!!!!
  6. I'm from PA about an hour and 15 min train ride to the city...right now I'm a senior in college in upstate NY. So I would def be moving to the city if I get in. gl to everyone!
  7. Hi...I saw on the website that they only accept about 27% of their applicants
  8. I hope that means it was a good sign and that we're in !! good luck!!!
  9. hi, SO good NEWS they are starting to review our applications FINALLY! The admissions office just called me and said they reviewed my file and they were just wondering if I took anatomy and phys and she said my letter is going out this week! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'm crossing my fingers!! I'm assuming everyone should hear really soon because I applied literally the last day in feb.
  10. thanks for your help! Did you guys apply anywhere else?
  11. Hi! I also applied for the program! I keep calling and they said they haven't entered my grades yet into their system...I'm going nuts. I literally sent in my application 2 days before the deadline, because I decided late that I wanted to go there. Did either of you hear back yet?
  12. HI, Are you applying for the Sept 2008 accelerated program? I don't know if you have filled out the application yet, but I just finished it last night. There was an area in the application to put down volunteer work, and I am sure that will help you get in. What is you GPA I heard that their average accepted last year was a cumulative 3.4. But, a lot of people told me they do not look only at your GPA.
  13. hey everyone, I was wondering if you know how strict the criteria is to get into the accelerated program. I am a senior Biology major and my GPA is a 3.32 right now, hopefully by the time I graduate it will be a 3.4. I am finishing up my pre-reqs now and they are mostly B's and some A's. Think I will get in? It makes me nervous not finding out until so close to school starting! Do you know if they have early admissions to the Jan 2009 accelerated program? Thanks!
  14. Hi! I am going to apply to the accelerated program for next January...do you guys like it so far? Do you know when the application is due or if you can apply now for Jan? Thanks!
  15. Hi, I just decided I am going to apply to the accelerated nursing program in Jan. 2009. I was wondering if the pre-reqs needed for liberal arts are specific courses or if they are just any LA classes. Thanks!
