  1. Hello I am currently an LPN completing all my my pre-reqs at Northern Va Community College to apply for the LPN to RN program. I am a mother of 3 and work full-time so it's taking me a while to complete my RN:uhoh3:. Has anyone done the LPN to RN bridge? If so what did you think about it? I was also reading other student's posts and some are recommending taking Bio 141/142/205 instead of NAS 161/162 route. Has anyone done the BIO 141/142 online? Who did you take it with? I do want to pursue a higher education in nursing (in the future), but right now I just want my ADN! Future RN(i hope)
  2. I live in VA and the BON in Richmond has an automated number that we can call and enter our SSN and it will tell us if we have license number:twocents:
  3. Mine did too and it did for all the other students who were in my LPN class.......we all passed! It's a horrible feeling...the waiting and all. I was able to find out the next day, if I passed, by calling my state board of nursing.
  4. I am in the same boat as you. I completed my LPN in July in a 4 day/week class and am so done dealing with the drama that went on in class. I took my test in Sept and passed:yeah: Now I want to get my butt in gear and start on my RN, but am so confused as to what online program to do.....and reading all these posts has just gotten me more confused.....I am actually thinking about going back to the classroom:confused:
  5. Does anyone know if Excelsior has financial aid for the nursing program? I completed my LPN this past summer and had to pay out-of-pocket for it...... so I really don't want to do that again.
  6. I am in LPN school, I graduate in July. I am so worried about the NCLEX exam, I don't even know where to start studying. I saw that you said that you took the exam before it changes........uh-oh what do you mean???
