  1. Hello Everyone! I'm so glad to be a part of this group! I'm currently a certified massage therapist here in CA. Though I love my job, I've decided to FINALLY pursue my long time dream of becoming a registered nurse! So I recently signed up for a CNA course, and I will begin 5 days from now! I'm super excited to learn as much as I can so that I can be the best certified nurse assistant I can be! I hope that this opportunity will help me gain experience, especially in an acute hospital environment, and financially support my journey to become an RN some day soon! I'm so glad to be here because I think that this is such a great support system, and It's inspiring to know that there are others who are in the same situation, and have the same goals as I do! Honestly, sometimes I worry about how difficult and stressful the next few years will be, especially with school and it's demand for perfection. But I know that I can only do my best, and that hard work and positive thinking will pay off in the end! So, through the next couple years, as I grow and learn more through this journey, I hope to stay active here to gain and share as much knowledge, support and inspiration as possible! Happy Valentine's everyone! -cat
  2. Congrats on your new position! I will be starting my CNA course in a week, and I'm super excited, (and a little nervous)! But I am also interested in working at my local hospital's surgical unit so it can help me gain experience and fund my RN schooling too. So, best of luck, and let us know how that goes for you! thanks, cat
