  1. go with the FNP. due to the fact that you have a broader scope in which to look at when deciding your field. also, with a fnp you can treat the whole family and not just be limited to one area.
  2. i know that the islands do not require a quarantine. just health records from a vet. not too bad. my pets are my children in a lot of ways. i just could not leave them behind. i have traveled with them for four years and they have done wonderful.
  3. I am looking at assignments in the Virgin Islands. I have been offered a contract with Worldwidetravelstaffing. I will be taking my 14year old son with me. I also want to take my two dogs. Small breeds. Does anyone know if this is possible and what is the housing like on the islands. I keep reading about all the crime and am now worried this may not be the assignment for us. I am not worried about the hospital situation due to I am used to having to make do with what I have when treating patients. However, I want this to be a good experience for my son. Do you know of any housing that accepts pets and what is it like for families on the island? Hopefully someone has brought their family along and maybe been allowed to bring pets. Let me know soon. By the way, the contract will be for the start of June through September. I know this is hurricane season but I have read where most say it is not that bad. Please let me know about this too. thanks a bunch.
