  1. Hey, I saw that you started the ACE program in March. I actually just started four days ago. I know that no one replied to your thread but if you could please let me know how it is going for you and any tips or advice I would REALLY appreciate it. It already feels like everyone came into the program behind haha. How is it going for you? Did you find that the teachers tested more from lecture than from the books? Do we really need to buy all those books? Anything you could tell me would be greatly appreciated. Good luck with the rest of your program and I hope to hear from you soon! Thanks!!!
  2. I am sorry, I am really new. What do you mean by PM if we have any questions?
  3. Hello, I just started the Ace program yesterday and it seems like everyone around me is totally freaking out. I just planned on taking it one day at a time and wondered what your best advice was to a newby like me :). Also, I saw a few posts from former ACE grads who mentioned that they realized after buying a majority of the books they did not need all of them. Siting that the professors tested mainly based on lecture notes and that there are only a few books that were really necessary. Is that true? Any input you have would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much!
  4. Hey Piper, I am going to enter ACE this fall and was wondering about buying books. I am noticing that a lot of current ACE students are saying that you don't really need to buy the books because everything you are tested on and learn is off of the powerpoint presentations that the professors given. I am a little nervous about not buying books but really would like to save the money. Can you do well in the program and get a really good GPA by just studying the lecture notes and the notes? Please let me know, thanks so much!
  5. Hi everyone, I was hoping to get some input between the Drexel ACE program which can be completed in 11 months versus the Jefferson APW program which can be completed in 2yrs. I am married but do not have any kids so I am ready to be fully time committed to any program I get into. I did very well on all my science pre-requisites, was able to get an A on all of them but I am still going back and forth between these 2 programs. I would really appreciate any advice people can give me between doing the 11 month cram at Drexel ACE and taking my time and doing the APW at Jefferson over 2 years. Is there going to be a difference in terms of how much I know, will I not be as knowledgable after the ACE program because it is so hurried? Will I be more ready to be a successful nurse due to the 2yr study time of the APW program? Any input is greatly appreciated..thanks so much!
