  1. Whether you or male or female is not the issue. Nursing is a lucrative field, and a BSN degree Nurse will do you well for a beginning. To know your background as a formerdoc, is beneficial. Good luck. Dalhousie is a marvelous University. Meraendaeh
  2. Hello, go to your library and get a nursing grammar text, or take English University level, this will help. You need to develop this. While your at it, try and find someone in your workplace or at the college or university close to you. If in Ontario perhaps through the College of Nurses you can find a mentor. All the best. 3. I work in Ontario, an agency nurse making $27, hours are 76 capped, up to 88 biweekly. Per Ministry of Health mandate.
  4. Hello, I do not work in Montreal. I have done agency work for over 25 years. They need the nurses, you can pick and choose. Your in the drivers seat, set your terms. The money is fair, benefits dependent on contracts, then your capped hours. That is the new rule in Ontario. However these days it is nice to have one on one. The money is not like the hospital. You decide your worth. It is your ball park... Meraendaeh
