Nursing School - do I have a chance?
You should also apply to CPCC its a really good school (hint hint: I go there) i have a friend who went to mercy its also a good school but i have been tolded its a little harder (but everybody is d/f). If you decide to take pre-reqs at cpcc let me know i know all the good instructors. I would recommend re-taking pre-reqs that the college look at: example at CPCC you can pick and choose what you want to use on your application as long as it's a nursing pre-req (micro, a&p, chem, math, etc). I choose all the pre-reqs I got an A in which helped alot. So if you retake some classes try to get A's, its hard but you can do it, just stay focus.

Scared I'm not cut-out
Don't give up my friend, stay in there because it will all pay off in the end. Its taken me for ever (2yrs) but i just got the news that i got into my schools program. You should see if your school has tutoring for some of your pre-reqs because grades are very important, maybe you should think about just taken 2 classes at a time so you can have more time to study...... I studied my butt off and got A's but when i was in high school i got C's and D's so all it takes is determination.... You can do it...... I always pray b/4 a test (God is good) P.S Believe in the 3D's (drive, determination, dedication)

Scholarship Opportunities for NC Nurses/ Nursing Students
Hello everybody, I attend CPCC in Charlotte and i just applied for the nursing program next fall but i am out of money, because i used all my money that i had saved up when i was taking my pre nursing classes. So i need money to survive off of while im in the nursing program and alot of the loans, scholarships on this thread want apply to me because i will be a part-time student because i have already taken all of my pre-nursing classes plus my school doesn't do loans, they told me i had to go to an outside source if i wanted a loan and that would be hard because i do not have a co-signer and i only work 10hours a week. So please if anyone has any advice please reply, THANKS:> P.S i already have financial aid to pay for my books just need extra $ for bills etc....
