  1. Go to AANA.com and you will find that Middle Tennesse is on probation.
  2. I don't go to school there, however, my friend went to school there. She said the housing in Pensacola was in a bad area and not very nice. She talked with someone, told them she was a student, and rented a condo for a month for $1200. TCU gives you $800 dollars a month for alternate housing if you are required to travel, this information was on the sheet they gave you in your interview. They are one of the only schools that provide any money towards you traveling somewhere other than your primary site. I also heard it's not fun:)
  3. jls189, I thought the CCRN exam was really easy. Watch Laura Gasparis's DVDS, this gives you just about all the information you will need. I do suggest getting the PASS CCRN book for a reference, it has way more information than you need, but is good to use to read up on things you need to be refreshed on. The main reason to get the PASS CCRN book is for the DVD questions, DO THESE QUESTIONS! I studied for about a week and a half, I watched the DVDS, reviewed, and took loads of practice questions. Took the test, passed. It's not as hard as everyone would have you believe...:nuke:
  4. And not only that, I seriously doubt that the doctoral degree awarded in a DNAP is not going to be a clinical doctoral degree. It'll be more like a Ph.D. (i.e. like a Ph.D. in nursing, or a Ph.D. in pharmacology--degrees that do not grant any clinical privileges). Actually, "Doc" there is a school that offers a DNAP clinical degree in TN. So it's not "more like" anything..... To Everyone else, maybe if we just ignore him he will go away.
  5. DocHolliday, Come on, I mean really, enough already. Go pick up some extra call or something, please find something better to do with your time, this is becoming pathetic. Better yet, why don't you stalk down a Surgical Tech website and argue the difference between a surgeon and a scrub tech?
  6. DocHolliday, Last time I checked the name of this website is allnurses.com......
