  1. Do any of you use paramedics in your emergency departments? if so, are they allowed to triage, assess, discharge? Does the RN have to sign their charts?:redbeathe
  2. How can I prepare for a site visit by the state health department and/or medicare that will be very thorough? My area is the emergency department. Any one have any ideas of how I can get my unit up to par?
  3. With pregnant patients being such high risk, is anyone placing them in a different area?
  4. I also work in small hospital. The CNO and I decide what we need if is equipment nurses use. If is new procedure tray for dr. we get input from them. Materials management person has input to make sure is on contract.
