Banner Nurse Fellows March 2010
They are not taking very many employees of Banner. Also, they are going towards the direction of people that already have a bachelor's degree in any field and are going into nursing. And yes, I did have --------- and the lady fron Desert. I know her already from when I worked at Desert, I wouldn't call the interview was with a "panel". The whole thing is a joke for people now days. W/O a bachelors they pretty much will go through the "hoops: with you, but will nor choose you.

GCU Fast Track BSN program - what to expect?
yes i agree with eschroedero on the previous post. i have all my pre-req's done and am starting the fast-track bsn at gcu this spring. i did all my pre-req's at the community college and have over 1/2 the bsn done with. i have been on the cc wait list for over 3 semesters and have gotton no where. i also have interviewed for the banner nurse fellows 3 times and am a banner employee and still haven't got in. all in all it has been a waste of time for me through the cc and they try to weed out people left and right and do not want you to succeed.

Banner Nurse Fellows March 2010
Ok, I work for Banner and this is my 3rd time applying for the BNFP and I DID NOT get in. :angryfire I'm so frusterated and am going to go to GCU for their fast-track BSN program over at St. Joe's. Banner is not putting their own employees through the program anymore and are trying to get non-banner people in their program to get you hooked in. E-mails went out this afternoon on acceptance or denial.

Nursing Program @Grand Canyon University
I'm intersted in the fast-track BSN program at GCU. I did all the paperwork and background check and am looking to start in "block 2" in spring, since I have coursework of "block 1" that I want to transfer in. I was told by the dean that I have to do a math test and a simulation lab in order to transfer in as advanced placement? Does anyone have any advice or who is in the program right now that can tell me how the program is? I would be starting in Spring 2010 at JCL. Thanks!

Gateway LPN Fast Track
I did the LPN fast-track in 2008 and passed block 1 but did not pass block 2 by a couple of points. I then was re-admitted the following semester and again failed by 2 points. I would not recommend this program to people. When I took it there were so many teacher changes and such disorganization, I was not happy with gateway in the least. :angryfire Since LPN's are being outsourced in the hospitals in 2012, I would go straight to your RN and bypass this program. In all honesty I wasted a lot of time and money with this program and got nothing out of it but stress and frusteration. I'm now in GCU's fast-track BSN program and am over 60% done with their program and love it. :heartbeat If anyone wants to chat more about the gateway program please do, as I have given honest feedback.
