  1. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all affected by this terrible tragedy. Those lost paid the ultimate sacrafice to care for a person in need. They are a great loss for our community and are hearts are heavy thinking of thier families and co workers. May God surround you all with comfort in your time of need.
  2. I have been a nurse for several years and am currently a flight nurse. I would highly recommend you to check with the flight service you are considering and see if they have any part time positions - to get your foot in the door- and what qualifications they require. As an RN any exprerience you can get in ICU or a trauma centers emergency room will benefit you. The paramedic training you have is a great benefit but add to it with critical care nursing. Also take any courses your hospital offers for advanced trauma, critical care nursing and take all the ACLS, ATLS, NALS, PHTLS, PALS you can take.
