Thanks Meg! It seems pretty laid back in psych/leadership....compared to Term I. I just so happen to have Orange Park for my Adult Health I. I have just one question... Did clinicals start on week one?

I must admit there is A LOT of reading. I think the most we've had to read for a test could have been around 8 or more chapters. But, you are guided somewhat on what information is pertinent for the test. I hope this helps

OMG!!! Why did I put 12? I'm in section 13...But, I know I will still see you tomorrow :) Hopefully I will be able to switch. I wanted 12.

I can't believe we're done with Term I!!! I can't express how much fun I've had with you guys/gals.... I'm in Section 12. Most of my Term I sisters/brothers are in different sections . But, I know we'll all meet up again. I have Psych & Leadership this term. So far (looking @ the syllabus) it seems ok...but, we'll see after the weeks go by. ~Mel

Health Assessment grades have been posted; I failed.

I'm just really nervous about "Simulations" tomorrow.

For those in Section 11/12 that want to purchase a "Health Assessment" textbook by Jarvis...check out ebay. I just purchased one for $6 w/ $4.50-shipping :) After that test...I figured that I need to go ahead and pick one up. I don't feel like I got enough of what I needed from the book we've been assigned to use.

I was confused too, but it's Ch 1-5 only.

Hi All:: I haven't been on here in a while. Just wanted to stop by since I was checking emails. I really need to get on the ball. I've been so distracted lately because I've been ripping and running, trying to get everything worked out for class. I still haven't been "officially" accepted into the clincial site and it's killing me. Almost all of the sites have granted me "ineligible", no one has said yes. There are only 3 more hospitals left to make decisions. I can't do anything but wait at this point. I hate to know that stupid decisions I made when I was 18, are going to affect the rest of my life (and my family). Hopefully I will find out something next week. I've been busting my tail to get where I am. I'm not the same dummy 18yo. At this point I'm just praying for the best.

More than likely we will see SQ more often than the Subcut. I know that in the pharmacy...the MD always writes SQ not Subcut. AmberB & Nurse-N-2010 :: I'm more behind than you guys. I haven't even started. But I'm hoping that I don't do too bad. I've taken Dosage Calc, IV Calc and Med Term in Pharm Tech school. But I know the RN version will be more indept.

*****check FCCJ emails***** There was an update. The handbook test will not start until 11am!! The agenda for Monday has been revised . Bookstore opens 8am on Monday...so whoever is like me...and waited until the last minute for iClickers. You will be able to buy them before Orientation.

This is soo scary to me now! I haven't studied anything (Med Term, D. Calc, IV Calc, etc.). Only the handbook. I don't have my iClicker. I don't have my books. I don't have my skills kit. I'm in full panic mode, not because I want to be. I don't have the $$$. I "stalked" financial aid enough for them to put an estimated award on my record. This held my classes. Whoohooo! But as far as books, they have to do some type of verification to complete my aid so I can get a book voucher. At this point, I have some books available for LOAN until I'm able to get my own books. So, I will have books for class. I just don't have them now, and I would have loved to spend the weekend getting familiar with the courses :)

Hi All! I've yet to buy and iClicker...I will probably get one Monday from the bookstore. I hope they have it or I will be screwed. What type of batteries does it take? How many?

Yea, I was hoping changes had been made to Section 11 & the 6-9pm class. Is Term 2 a lottery schedule also?

I was just thinking the same. More than likely, they will be closed. I'm going to call the bookstore tomorrow and just see if anyone is there...lol
