Well so i met recently with a rep from The College Network. After they gave there spill super quick i asked about the finical aid department they ended the meeting quick. They told me i pay them then later on when i take there pre-reqs then the other pre-reqs for the program then the actual class i can get finicial aid if i search for it not on there pre-reqs but the other class's. Confused? Yeah me to. #1 No body has graduated from this program as of yet. #2 No finicial department for the entire amount you take out with the program as a total program. #3 Real short when you have good questions. Not dinging the program but after doing my education i am not just going to enroll in a program that just talks about its a cheap way of nursing. I am not a cheap nurse. I dont provide cheap care. I am here for a reason and i matter to others and the community. So be carefull do your research and ask the questions before you sighn the line. There are many things that you have to do yourself just to finish the program. Seems there are some bugs that are needed to be worked out and i dont want them to work them out while im enrolled. PS Please in now way start bashing on this program just give your opinions as i have so we can all me enlighted. Again this is in Cali so it matters since it is brand new.... Thanks!! LVN

Ok i have been waiting to say this since the first test! I PASSED! I stoped just over 85 the secound round. Big letter came a week later then last time. And its $120 to get my licence. It is a easy test if you study. I did not study the first time. The secound time i studed for 3 weeks 1 of those weeks was full time. All on the computer nclex type questions and i read Fryes 2 times.. Both those helped prepair to take the test. If you need help let me know.. 205 is not a good sign. I failed but you should have your results now. Hope it is good new if not do fret... You got my email...

Weird i called Friday last and they said that there working on 21st for cali. Then i called Monday and said 21st. Then i asked Thrusday they said there sending out March 4th??? Weird so i guess ares is both in the mail... Hope its good new. What did you stop at?

Start studying again for the RN advancement to!!! While we are all on a roll!! It helps to do it now if you can...

Thanks i really hope it was good. I think so since so many people say that is a good # to stop at. I was not that scared this time until i got to 86. Then i said you are still in it keep going take more time. They say not to stop at a question for a long time i say take your time. If you go 5 hours i doubt it. I stopped at 88 i think and i was like OMG all the weight was off my shoulders. 1 1/2 hours. Regardless of my great clinical that all my instructors say i am going to be a outstanding nurse and getting B's without studying because i was in the RN program but did not take it serious so they said do VN come back part time online.. I had a hard time with this state test since my school i went to was a private not so great drama school. Pass rate was like 78% last time i looked. My RN school was 98% last time i looked. I already have a great place i work for and things are looking great! Regardless! If i did not pass i will take 2 weeks testing and a vacation to do so... So i suggest anyone else study from the beginning because if you go RN you will need to take there test to advance in anyway. Im getting ready for that one now..

Stopped at 88 or less i think. I over studied i think. But i got a couple wrong. Was hoping to stop at 85 but when it hit 86 i was like no keep going you can do it. then couple questions later stopped. This test seemed a lot easer then the last. Only 3 times i got a repeat question. 5 meds 5 select all that apply. Dont get me wrong it was hard questions but i was better prepared. Think i did ok what do you guys think?????? CALI!

So first off why only in Cali do we have to wait? No quick results. To be honest its LVN/PN you would think RN testing you would have to wait but even they get there results quicker. The whole system needs to be fixed. Here is what happen with me... Finished VN school. Had to wait for them to send out papers to Sacramento, which i think are all volunteers or really old, that took 5 weeks for them to send papers to me to sign and pay to test which had to go through my school, i had a loan through, so i went to my school had them send out the check and papers they said it would take 2 weeks took another 5 weeks. finally got my papers to test. Called the test center and there all of Indian descent none of which i could understand then realized the people in Sacramento spelled my name wrong.. It was a typo. Had to call Sacramento they said it would take 48 hours.. Called them a couple days later it was fixed. Called the testing center same people got a test date for a week. Got ready for the test. Read all the drama about what people who have no idea about the test thought it would shut off at or how you would do and what to study for. Really only studied 2 days. Took test Monday it was easy and hard. Had 205 questions. Left seeing my results of all passing and completed.lol Now waiting to get my results since we have no quick results. What a joke this needs to be fixed. I was in a RN program and took a time out to work more since i am the only provider. Was told to finish LVN and come back part time online program. I cant wait to be through all this madness but we must go to the meetings and vote on some changes. I know now i have to pay again and wait for my license from Sacramento...? What a joke.. Do not believe any hype about the test. Read all the information on how and why the test is in place from the nclex web site itself and you will get a feel for the test and understand a lot more then people who are now new professionals giving professional biased opinions... Also the way the test is graded is a joke. Making it harder for a smarter new grad or just giving easy questions to a average new grad is not the way to test. If so all our test would be so. If a new grad is smart and flys through the test they should move on to RN or PA or higher. The test is for new grads in nursing. Its a one year program private and a two year at a community setting. With all the remarks on oh i did not do well on the test its because you had harder then average questions. Then they find out they pass. Make a difference and go to the meetings and vote!

Well i just took the test and i went all the way to 205.. I should of never checked this board..lol I was like ok here comes 85.. Then passed that and i already knew i was not prepared. I finished school in July and procrastinated. So many things come up when you support a finance, and a 3 year old.. But no excuse i got the papers to test and i was like lets do it in 7 days.. No way could i get ready in time. I only really studied 2 days... Full days.. I bought the Fyres 3300 book, did not help to much. People said it would.. Nope. I study alone and always ace test if i study the night before but this was way to much info. I got a lot of prioritizing. Which is the most....essential...first...important.. Few math i got all right.. Then lots of meds.. MY weakness.. I already work in the field so that helped. Already took a position. But not untill next year.. So i already am studying for the retake. At least i know whats to come.. Dont believe anything the boards or people tell you. I took 205 questions... I know people who passed on taking all question and the min wich here in cali is 85... I know that the only thing is this test is somthing i have never took before.. Basically its everything nothing tricky nothing hard just everything from everywhere. I know i saw some of my results by mistake when leaving... Pass..Pass...Pass...Pass... But i know i did not pass everything... Next time i we be laughing because i will be prepared.... And not looking at the time and # of question im on....lol Hype kills it. We should enjoy this moment! Its practice and we just started.
