  1. Actually I got accepted into the weekend program at Morris. I'll be starting on Janurary 25th. But i don't know exactly what i'm getting myself into.
  2. Anybody here starting the nursing program in County College of Morris in New Jersey or have already started????
  3. I would like to thank all of you for your quick response. I appreciate the advice...I still can't wait to become a nurse and I know I'll be a damn good one:D. I would never let poop get in the way of my dreams even though it was a concern of mine because i don't know how I'll react to it...but my priority will always be to make sure the patient is comfortable. I'm sure i'll be ok and I guess I'll get used to it. By the way the vapor rub trick is something I will give a try if poop cleaning gets to be a problem :)
  4. I'm starting my nursing program on Jan.25th, and i'm really, really excited. Ever since I can remember I've always dreamed about being a nurse. I'm a medical assitant at a cardiologist office and I love working hands on and I love my patients to the point that I can't wait until I become a RN and work at a hospital. During orientation we were told that our first practice cite will be at a nursing home . One thing I'm actually not looking forward to doing is looking at poop!!! I could deal with blood, I can deal with pee, but i'm actually scared of my reaction to looking at poop and changing patients, I'm scared I might:barf01: I've changed a childs diaper before and i've had no problem...but I have never changed a adults diaper nor smelled or been up close and personal to it. I'm so afraid of how i'm going to react to it...does anyone ever felt this way? Does anyone have some advice or suggestions??? Is it true that it's just like changing a child. I'm scared of the smell and how i would react to it. HELP!!!! i feel recidiculous...:trout:
  5. I loved my A&P class it was so interesting, and my professor was great, it was mostly alot of studying and memorization....did anyone have to disect a cat in there A&P class??? because we did.
  6. I'm actually new at this....new member...and the reason why I became a member was because i was reading what WanaBaNurse wrote. I'm also nervous and have butterflies in my stomach. I have my orientation on Thursday and I start my classes in January. I'm sooooooo nervous and scared. I don't want to leave my job. The school I'm going to has a weekend program. I guess I'll see how I'll do with going to school and working full time....good luck and everyone!!!!! wish me luck.
