  1. I completely understand. I have never even had a regular biology class. I ended up dropping Micro. So the coming semester, I will take that biology class. I say word for word, what you did. It was like a foreign language. So going back to basics is best. Good luck hun.
  2. My A&P teacher is actually on the rate my professor site. I don't she rated well...lol. But thats really a great idea for the math. I have been thinking maybe i can sneek in a math class between my other four classes.

I wanted so badly to become an RN, but i can not seem to pass college algebra. I had to start at the bottom, beginning algebra and i got out with a C. Then went on to intermediate & had to drop out because of grades. It also took me 2 semesters to get out of A&P with a passing grade. I made an A in Medical Term & Abnormal Psy, and a B in First Responder. Surgical Tech seems to be the new route I will have to take. I should also add that I am 48 and have been out of school for 30 years. Has anyone else had this kind of problem?

  7. ...no I'm not a nurse (yet), but I stayed at a Holiday Inn...lol. I want to add that my B/F and I stayed here in New Orleans for the storm. It was rough here. The power in our city and many many other parishes, lost power. Some lost water supply also. They couldn't even flush toilets. The older folks with special needs finally came home yesterday. I know that Sildell, Baton Rouge, Terrebonne, Houmas, and Lafourche were hit the worst. I know there a few more ares hit as bad, but I tell exactly who they are. There is an RN living across the street from us. She was, and still, gone through the entire ordeal. I know she was working her butt off. The local hospitals were running on huge generators. My heart, thanks and prayers go to all the nurses that stand strong during these special times of need. They ARE the heartbeat of America. Thanks again, Sharon
  8. ...yes I liked that one also. I bookmarked it. It has some great stuff on it.

  11. Does anyone have a good online site to find a correct human skeleton that is labeled. I also need to understand the surfaces of each bone. I cried when I came home from A&P1 last night...lol..thanks..Sharon
  12. I had to start with beginning algebra also. I finished with a C+. I am in intermediate now. Still hanging in there. I graduated high school in 1978. So it has been wayyyy too long. But I can do it, anyone can...Sharon
  13. please don't say you are old. I am 48 & just took my ACT for the first time a year ago. I haven't been in high school since 1978. So far I am doing ok. But I have to say that A&P1 is kicking my butt. If anyone has any good places online to find good diagrams of the human skull & the rest of the skeleton i would greatly appreciate it. Best of luck to ALL US late bloomers...lol...Sharon
  14. i am taking A&P 1 this spring along with nutrition, and human growth
