I will be also taking nutrition online along with 4 other classes. English Comp I(online), Beginning Algebra(on campus), Biological Science(on campus), and general psychology (online). So I have a pretty big work load but 3 online classes and 2 on campus should not be that bad. FYI: These will be my first time trying out online classes but I've had a lot of advice and felt from students already in the program. So I know I can do it. But if anyone wants to begin a study group that would be awesome, we can all help each other out. I'm actually taking mine Spring 2009

Hey Everyone, I am so excited!!! I start college for the first time since I graduated in 2003 from High School. I'm going into the RN program at Valencia Community College and starting from the top. I'm taking my first two classes on May 5, 2008 the start of the summer term and I cannot wait. I am 23 year old with two children 5 and 2 years old and its just a joy to finally make a step in my life and to know that some day, some how I will make a better life for me and my children. You know, looking back i've always wanted to be a nurse but there were alot of obstacles that came my way and that prevented me from going to school (Immigration issues; Canadian citizen). But all that has passed and now the wait is finally over. I just picked up my student ID and parking Decal this week and I'm just preparing myself, my life and my family for this cause they know how much this means to me. I know that this is going to be a long journey that i'm all for and the challenge....oh boy I know its there. But guess what.....people will always tell u that things are not possible, that you won't make it, that its too hard and that with two kids i'm just joking myself. But I tell myself that the only person that will be laughing and smiling at the end of this amazing journey is ME... and I mean that with everything I got. Yes its hard work, yes there will be obstacles, yes it will be stressful but guess what it will be all worth it in the end. Cause no matter what you put your mind too, and how powerful your faith is to the lord, I say to myself I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHS ME"!! But I just wanted to share this with everyone and anyone else that is starting from the top like me I just wanted give all of you my blessing that we all make it through and that we keep our heads up high. Just give thanks and study hard and keep focus...I will be on here like everyday because i love this site. And I want to thank everyone on this site that continues to encourage and strength us all.
