I want to be a nurse....BUT
I totally know how you feel! I have been working to get into a nursing program from the last 18+ months. I moved back home for the first few months but needed to get a place of my own. I have found the best way to make money is by waiting tables/bartending. I have a BS in Human Biology. In my 3rd year decided I wanted to be a nurse but ended up finishing my degree and am now trying to get the degree I REALLY want. I found the best thing for me is to work in food service 25-30 hours a week (the tips make it totally worth it!) and than volunteer in a hospital to gain experience while I am waiting. Even after I get into a nursing program I think I am going to continue to work in a restaurant to support myself in addition to student loans. Good luck with everything!

Has anyone gotten a good grade in Chemistry during a 6 week intersession?
I did a whole year of chemistry in 10 weeks. Each semester was 5 weeks long. I worked part-time as well. It was pretty intense but it is doable. I had class and lab 5 days a week from 8-12ish (sometimes later, sometimes earlier). We had a test at the end of each week. I got an A in the first part and a B in the second part. It was worthwhile though b/c it was done quickly. I recommend it if you have good study skills and want to get it out of the way! Good luck!

BSN to MSN or BSN to NP?
I am currently applying to Post Bac BSN programs with an eventual goal of becoming a neonatal nurse practitioner. Does anyone know which schools have BSN to NP programs? Thanks!
