    what kind of policies do you have for conscious sedation? how long do you monitor the child? when do you consider the child in the recovery stage? guess i'm loking for guidelines from other institutions to compare to ours! thanks:nurse:

    we are supposed to be staffed 4:1 but more often than not it will be 5:1. during the winter if we get some really bad rsv's we do a 3:1 or 2:1 ( if people are willing to do overtime.)
