Hi Fiona, before I got my PR but during the study I lost it. somebody told me that I can work on north territories if I get temporary work permit. I did a big mistake. hope to get my immigration again even now is more difficult then many years ago.

I got my registration with CRPNBC in 2011, can I practice in BC without immigration process? What is the best way to work after getting the registration. regards

I think all foreign nurses face the same problem as me, I wanted to get some opinion from nurses with the same situation as mine. sure I know that exist CIC and I read a lot. but we should be altruist and help each other just with some advises not to throw out from this forum. u didn't experience this situation so. ... is easy just to do such a comments.

Hi, Thank you so much for emailing me back. So now is no way. I need to prepare the English test.Do u now even British nurses failed the IELTS, in deed is very difficult test.TOEFL is much easier. I attended the IELTS course and is difficult. but I never sit the exam for English test cos I couldn't imagine that I ever need it. I know the PR is the most important. I'm so disappointed about the system regarding getting a job in Canada. Nobody helps the interational nurses to find the job, to get the PR. In UK the board of nurses are more generous with international nurses, they provide the jobs, accommodation for the fist month,even they come to airport to pick u up. in which city are u now? how is the situation with psychiatric nurses there? For the general nurses there are more jobs, but in psychiatric field in Vancouver is a disaster with the jobs. kind regards

Even if my instruction at univ was in English and I passed successfully the registration exam, I need English test proficiency (IELTS is very difficult)? How long it takes to get PR? I saw on some forums that should wait up to 1-2 years. what u applied after getting the registration? kind regards than

Hi Fiona, Thanks for reply, yes I know in many hospitals are so many senior nurses working, but I would like to know if you send your resume would they hire nurses older than 50 or over in Canada? I sow so many job offers and they mentioned that senior don't apply! I was shocked so they don't have right to apply as other is such a discrimination! regards

hi, In Europe we don't have forensic nurses only the doctors do this job. are you forensic nurse ? did u got the certificate? do u have experience about this. are this program only online? do u know some reliable univ or college when can study this but not virtually. are in USA such a colleges or programs when u can study live? I had applied for a psychiatric nurse job in special hospital where are criminal patients released from jail. is a bit scary i don't know if i should accept or no. what do u think about this? sorry for so many questions regards and thanks for answers

Hello, I would like to ask you about forensic nursing role. Forensic nurse work also with criminal patient,who where released from jail and sent to psychiatric hospital and also with very difficult mental ill patient who can't be get a care in normal psychiatric hospital.So forensic nurse deals also with this kind of work. Hi dear Keesha, I think this is the most nice present for Christmas and I'm so glad that you got a job finally.:loveya: I have still a long way I need to sit the registration exam and I'm so afraid cos I'm not there I just study with material that I got from net. The other problem is that I can't find accommodation in Vancouver. I try all craigslist and VancouverSun and Province without any results.How did u find accommodation do u have friends or relatives? there could you suggest me please how to find to rent or share an apt.
