  1. Aside from ACLS & PALS, what other courses would be good to consider for me to take. I am graduating on Dec 14th and REALLY want to be a flight nurse. I know I have to work in ER and ICU but what other recommendations have worked well for you working as a flight nurse. What do you feel did not help or would help more if I did something else first?
  2. Dansko Clogs...Say what you want as far as them being too feminine but they are the best shoes I wear, I have two pairs one for work (ER) and the second white pair for clinicals, I graduate next week and have just died the white ones to black (they look ok) 120 bucks a pair and never complained once. Get them ASAP and wear them around the house for a few hours each day because they do take a while to break in and are not comfy until they are broke in.
  3. I am a student who is less than 2 weeks till graduation. I will graduate with my Associate's degree in Nursing. I am wondering IF ANYONE has a suggestion what my plans should incude to become a flight nurse. I know that experience is priceless and am nervous about being "on my own". ICU, ER, etc I believe is required and don't think I should immedialty go to work in these areas. Just wondering What You all know has been good/bad pathways to go.
