  1. Mixing chemo drugs on the medicine counter in the nurses station and not needing to be certified to hang them!
  2. Thanks. That is what I thought also. I did not want to go to the BON, but also did not want to get myself into trouble by not reporting it. Hopefully the two nurses will learn from this and never let it happen again
  3. Last week a patient told me she was given her IVP pain medication by a LPN. She had a PICC line. This is definitley not allowed in my state. To make matters worse, the RN on duty signed for it. Management has decided to not report this to the BON. The involved will be reprimanded and will be fired if it ever occurs again. I just wonder since I reported the incident to management, am I under any further obligations to report the incident to the BON?
