  1. No, im not a Canadian citizen so I will have to be on a student visa. I just want to know if I can work as a PN in Canada after i graduate there.
  2. Does this apply only to people who were trained in countries other than canada? If I got my certificate/diploma in Canada will I still get the work permit?
  3. by RPN i meant registered practical nursing. I now realized that it is called LPN in states other than ON. The program I mentioned above is a 12month in duration and award the graduates with a certificate. It also allows them to sit for the board exam. Are LPNs in great demand these days?
  4. Has anyone heard about 12 month RPN program offered at Vancouver community college? How is it in terms of reputation, academic, etc? I'm also curious about a general job outlook for RPN in BC area?
  5. How competitive is the adimssions process? I'm interested in CRNA program (direct entry).
  6. Hi everyone! This is my first thread so i'm excited to meet everyone. I'm currently a junior in college working towards BSdegree in business. I would like to go to a nursing school right after I graduate. I am espcially interested in Columbia's ETP program (Anesthesia). How competitiv is it? Would not having any work experience kill my chances of getting in? I have 3.7gpa as of now and have most of the prereqs completed. Thanks!
