  1. I'm in the same boat.......for the second time! 1st attempt, I rushed while I was running out of time, failed. I regret rushing toward the end, because I believe that is what "did me in". Took it again today hoping to knock it out at #75...big surprise! Ran out of time again, on this attempt I got to 220, did rush. My fingers are crossed.
  2. I know that this thread is years old, but to add to the words of ecouragement, my friend ran out of time @ 200ish, and got the green light to start taking care of patients three days later. It can be done. If you reach 265, or run out of time after #75, your last 60 questions are reviewed, and if they are ALL above the "passing standard", you pass.
  3. Took the NCLEX-RN on 10/16/2007 & got my results by mail on 11/01/2007......failed. If you get the last question wrong anywhere between questions 75-265...you failed. It's mathematically impossible to pass when that happens.......here is proof in black and white. https://www.ncsbn.org/1230.htm Click on "example-pass".
  4. I've read many "opinions" on this issue, but has anyone ACTUALLY finished the NCLEX-RN exam at a number greater then question #75, and less than #265, gotten their final question wrong, and still passed? The reason I ask is because if you your above the "passing line" when your test cuts off at #75, it is programmed to shut down regardless if the last question you answered is correct or not. After #75 its a different ball game, because at this point, if the test continues, your still in the game until your able to reach the "passing line" as each answer brings you closer to the either of the two boundaries.
