I took the nclex-pn 3 times before I passed it. The 1st time I got the maximum of questions, the 2nd time it shut off at 85 questions and the 3rd time it shut off at 85 questions. I must say, the 1st 2 times I took it--I had barely studied. I skimmed through some books for a few days before I took it and just took a stab at it. I found the test the 1st 2 times to be very difficult because I didn't study enough. The 3rd time I studied thoroughly for 2 months straight...lol. The content was a breeze! Mostly got lab value questions and priority questions.

Just got a job at a rehabilitation center here in Pennsylvania starting at $23.50 + $1.00/shift differential.

I'm in Philadelphia. As a GRADUATE Nurse (permit, no license) I earned a starting rate of $19.65. After I got my license, one LTC facility offered $21 (didn't have the shift I needed though so I had to decline), another LTC facility had a Baylor/weekend position offering between $25-$27 plus full time benefits (but then they decided to discontinue the position all together for some reason!!!!), I interviewed at a rehab facility today with a starting rate of $22.50+ $1/shift diff. (hope i get it!!!!)
