I just started home care in CT. 62,400 salary for a 37.5 hr week. If I do visits the outside of workweek, it is 45$ per visit and I think 100$ for admission. 50.5 cents per mile. Not bad but health insurance is a bit more costly
  2. I thought it was also to do with the amount of fluid. We were taught never to use anything less than 10ml and most importantly to begin withdrawing the syringe on the last 0.5ml while still pushing the solution to create positive pressure which will prevent blood from collecting at the catheter tip; preventing occluded catheter.
  3. He didn't ask a bilateral amputee his height....and after thinking about his question asked what his height was BEFORE his amputation.
  4. In Finding Nemo, Dori says, "Just keep swimming" and she does it in a little sing song voice that I hear over and over in my head.
  5. You and another student are hiding in a pt. bathroom squeezing urine out of your shoe for an I&O because the urinal was knocked off of the bed rail. The instructor catches you, informs you the results will not be accurate. By the way, she walked out of the room laughing and shaking her head. Now THAT'S funny!!! I can just picture it!
