  1. check with your school's library, especially if you have a health sciences library, that's where I was able to borrow the Bates Assessment Videos and watch them.
  2. I would say the same as aspiring nurse 2008. Since UNC doesn't take recommendations your essays have to be really strong and let the reader get a good sense of who you are and what you have to offer the profession of nursing. Having your prereqs done before the start is a great thing to have done as well, especially if you have gotten good grades there. UNC was always my top choice but I also applied to University of Southern Maine, UPENN and Drexel as well as the mass college of pharmacy and health services as a back up. I too am moving from out of state and it is hard to get everything together in the time they give you between being accepted and starting the program but it certainly can be done. Best of Luck
  3. I got my letter of acceptance mailed on the 24th of October so I know that they are going out. Good luck!!
  4. I got in as well to the 4 term program:D!!!! I'm really excited and am from out of state and will be looking for an apartment down in the area. Anyone have any good suggestions of great areas or not so great areas I should not pursue very hard? Any and all recommendations welcomed. Anyone else going to the Nov. 12th orientation? best, Vidabug
  5. I'm so happy to see other people going through the same thing I am right now. I'm finishing up A&PII this summer but how many places require a nutrition course and where can i find one online possibly that schools will accept?
