I am a first semester nursing student,went to pick up my assignment today and one of the orders under meds says. "Sodium Chloride 0.9% IV soln 500 ML (dose) IV (route) FLSTK (Frequency)" I need to know what FLSTK means...I may be having a brain fart..but cant remember lol

I would just say the program is tough, lots of studying required, everyone says its hard to get in and even harder to stay in..lol However, it is possible! Yeah, only thing I have left now is my physical (my appointment is next week). I'm just ready to go to orientation so we can find out or schedules and stuff then it will actually same more "real" lol... I also heard that they split us up into sections, I wonder how they determine who gets what section?

Our deadline is 11/11.

Ours is 10/25. I got all my shots done, just gotta go Friday for my physical and my second Tb. Its getting closer everyday!

How is everyone doing with getting all there stuff completed? Orientation is right around the corner..I'm getting excited!!

A MAR review is basically just were you meet with someone and they make sure you have everything completed and let you know whats next in the process..etc. I didn't think FTCC required one though, I didn't do one and I got accepted into FTCC with 168 points so you should have got something with 179 points. Try double checking everything, I guess its possible for them to make mistakes.

Well, I didn't get anything today either......getting tired of waiting already lol. Maybe someone else will get some news today...

I believe we are all getting very nervous at this point! I am a stay at home mom, my mail usually runs between 10:30-11:00 so I will let you all know asap if I get anything!

I know, I think 42% is really low but I guess we will see. I never took version 4 of the TEAS so i dont really know what to compare it to but I did think it was rly hard, and the science section was dumb and pointless..lol,,my questions were anyways. I just wish the time would hurry up and get here I hate waiting!!

I'm anxious to see how the point range changes this time. I think you have a pretty good chance, from what I've heard there is a lot of people not passing the TEAS v!

Well...I didn't do as good on the TEAS as I has wanted but at least I passed. I ended up making a 70. I thought about retaking it but I rllllllllllllllly don't want to so I think I'm just going to stick it out and see how everything goes. I have 168 points total now so I'm hoping thats enough!

Hey guys! I am also applying to FTCC for the spring. I take my TEAS test on Monday so I am not sure how many point I have at the moment. It made me nervous when she told us in the information session that she couldn't give us a point range.....but we can figure that out on our own! haha. Im really nervous about the test I have been studying like crazy! I will let you all know how it goes and how many points I have after Monday!!

I am currently taking A&P II as a hybrid course. We dont really have lecture time so I have to just make my own notes. I was wondering if anyone has any notes on the Endocrine system? I read through the chapter and made some of my own but would just like something to compare them to. I tried doing a search but couldn't find anything. Thanks!

I am planning to apply to FTCC for fall 2011. I haven't taken the TEAS test yet so I am stressing over that! Where did you take yours? The information session I went to said that the last class points ranged from like 154-191..something like that, so I am also worried. As of right now I only have 78 points, but that is of course without the TEAS test. Just going to keep studying and hope I do good on it!! I also looked into GTCC and I believe they have many different ways to get more points so Idk if it would be easier or harder to get in there.
