  1. Pretty sure 1600 is perfect. I got a 520 verbal and 640 quant and was told at my interviews that my scores were good to great, so I think you'll be just fine...and no, you don't want to do that again! Good luck. I did get in at multiple programs by the way. But as has been said many times before, stats aren't everything.
  2. I too got the call yesterday ...what a great feeling. I have not yet decided if Baylor is where I will end up, I have one more interview left on Monday at Gonzaga. I feel like I need to experience each interview to make a quality decision like this, although my impression of Baylor far exceeded that of any other school I have interviewed at thus far. The only downside I can find about Baylor is that nobody seems to have anything good to say about Houston. poor Houston. Anyway, I am excited to be starting school again soon wherever it will be. GPA 3.5, GRE 1160, 2.5 years MICU/SICU (no hearts), CCRN, decent interview. This was my 4th interview this year so I actually felt relaxed and not intimidated...I think this helped a lot. Good luck to everyone, if you are determined you can do it.
  3. Hello all. I am currently working on my applications and I have a question about LORs. Do programs esteem letters from an MD over letter from RN's? How about from CRNA's? I have shadowed a few CRNA's but I don't feel they are familiar with my clinical abilities, they just know what kind of questions I ask, and my stats! It doesn't seem like they would be comfortable writing a quality letter. I also work nights and my face to face interaction with MD's is limited so I'm not sure if they would be able to write a quality recommendation either. Should I just go for the CNL's? I'm applying to 8 schools as well, so I would like to spread my letters out a little. (4 here, 4 there...) What are y'all's thoughts oh great ones who have gone before me??? Thanks a million. This forum is great by the way!!
