  1. Thanks it helps some. I work on the Oncology floor. usually have 4-5 patients
  2. What things need to be said in report? what is important? I had a horriable experience in change of shifts because I am still new (graduated in May and passed my boards in July 08!!!) but still cannot get a hold of what needs to be said. Any help would be great to make it go smooth and to make sure I everything in that I need to. Thank You!!!
  3. I have no idea what to write. I am going into second year nursing and never worked with a stroke patient. I have to write about Nuring care for rehabilitation of a ischmic stroke with motor impairment It cannot talk about Physical therapies job or occupational therapies. Just what the nurse will do with the patient for rehabilitation. Need as much help as possible writing papers is not a strong point for me. I just don't know how to think like a nurse yet. I need experience and that will take time. If anyone can help me that would be great!!!
  4. Hello. I am in nursing school now and the age range at my schol is from 18-54. It is not that bad to do. It seems like your already about half way there. Go for it. It doesn't matter how old you are. If you want something bad enough you won't let anything stand in your way of getting it. I am in my second year of nursing and graduate this spring. I am only 23 but have people about 42-50 years old in my class that will be graduating with me.
  5. I currently use Nursing Diagnosis Handbook by Ackley it is ok but I need more help in making goals and as evidence by stuff. That is the hardest part when your not a nurse b/c you have no experience to refer things to. If any one can help me out that would be great. Thanks a bunch!
