  1. OMG i have never laughed so hard! I am so glad to see I'm not alone. I confess I am also a popper! I'm not an RN yet, but I agree with one of the other post's I read, it willl take alot of restraint not to pop one when I see one. When I see a blackhead on my husband it's mine! I know it may be gross for some but I just can't help it!!! My MIL had one one time and I squeezed it too! I guess I am definitely cut out for this line work!
  2. The hispanic population is quickly becoming the largest minority in the United States! I don't think it would hurt anyone to make an effort and learn a few basics. If you were to visit any latin country in the world you wil see they all make an effort to learn some basic english. The end result is to be able to communicate with your patient so that you can give them the proper care that they need.
  3. Thanks to everyone who responded with so much encouragement! I really needed to see all of your sucess stories. I am definitely going to stick with my goal of going to nursing school!!! Thank you:lol2:
  4. :uhoh21: I started my pre-req's for nursing in 2004 - 2005. I took chem, A&P1, Bio, and Psych. (I had previously earned an Associates) I stopped to have another baby #3 (my last baby) and we also moved into a new home. I would love to go back to school now if I could, but realistically it won't happen for another year. I will be 35 this November and I feel like this clock is ticking. Becoming a nurse has been something I have wanted for a long time and I'm not ready to give that dream up! Are there any future nurses who have been in similiar shoes? How did you feel going back to school and not being the 19 year old in your class? I need advice and encouragement! Thanks!
