Relocating to St. Louis, which neighbourhood?
hi missourians, I accepted a position at a hospital in belleville IL. I want to live in st. louis near gateway station but no more than a 20-30 minute drive to belleville. Can anyone recommend a decent apartment building or neighbourhood that would make this possible. I am looking for a 1 bedroom apartment thank you

does this make any sense?
BSN educated nurse wants to pursue a masters degree in respiratory care in the hope that she will be more marketable when applying for jobs at hospitals. She does enjoy respiratory care and doesn't mind specializing in this particular field. However, would it not make more sense for her to just do her masters in nursing?

Lippincott vs Saunders????
saunders is great for content. once you have mastered your content move onto another review that is more challenging, like Kaplan.

I have two months to study for the NCLEX what should my plan of attack be?
For those who have passed the NCLEX, i would like your input into how i should study for the nclex within such a short time. I have two months to study for the nclex, I plan on not working for these two months just to focus on the nclex. How should i study for the exam? I was thinking about registering for Kaplan, using saunders and La charity. what do think? any other ideas? thanks

What is the one thing you wish you were told before starting nursing school
Believe in yourself. Dont worry about fitting in, just focus on your studies. Not everyone has to like you and not everyone will like you but continue to keep your eyes on the prize.

Graduating in Dec,, should I start job search yet?
Get on it right away. Because of the way the economy is right now it is very competitive. Call the nurse recruiter, find out what you need to do to make sure you are hired. you might have to get a job as a CNA on the floor you are interested on working on once you graduate. You can only find out what you need to do to get ahead if you call them. Good luck
