  1. I am scheduled to start the program at St. John's this coming Monday. When I applied last August, got an interview for October. There were 14 applicants interviewed and 8 got accepted. The low cost of the program is great. When you graduate, you won't be up to your ears in debt. Also the clinicals are all done at the same hospital, no commuting between clinical sites. I have heard nothing but great things about the program. Hope this helps. I know there are current students on this forum, so maybe they will give more feedback. The new website is http://www.stjohns.com/schoolofanesthesia/. If you need more information, I will try to help.
  2. The name of the school is Southwest Missouri School of Anesthesia at Missouri State University. I am starting the program in January. The program is 30 months. There are some great aspects about the program. The clinicals are done at one hospital, not multiple sites like other programs. Also, the entire program costs about $7000. One drawback is that you can only work the first semester. But I think the program is great. If you have more questions, I would be happy to answer them. Definitely give it some thought.
  3. Yes, I got in. Congrats to your husband. Does he work in NTICU at the John? Think I met him Saturday.
  4. Thanks. Hope to see you there and good luck also.
  5. Did you get in? I have an interview next Saturday. Thanks for the information. I have talked to several CRNAs that have gone through the program and all have said the same thing as you. Thanks again.
