My CCRN is scheduled for the end of the month. I've been an RN since '05 and in in the ICU since '06. Taken the GRE twice, but it is not needed for Union, so I won't retake it again.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh! Okay...I was freaked out that they sent you an e-mail...I want to plan now if I need to take a flight to TN, or make a trade on the schedule to attend an interview. How are you doing in regards to preparation?

I sent an e-mail requesting further information regarding interviews to the director and the admissions coordinator and got pretty much the same response, however the director stated that they are aiming for mid-April, but it may be the end of April before letters are sent. Did you send an e-mail as well or did they just send you the information?

Crystal, I will be moving by myself for right now. If accepted I'll be looking for a roommate! I don't know the area at all, but Union is the school that I am drawn to.

I too applied to Union University. From previous post, I've read that the interview could go from meet and greet to clinical. Interview invites will go out after the April 1 deadline and are either in May or June. Look foward to meeting you in the future and I hope that helps!

Need your input on this
Remember ultimately, the goal is to obtain an excellent ICU experience prior to going on to CRNA school. I have to tell you this but you are the one who will determine how your experience is achieved. This means, having a good preceptor, asking many questions during your time in the ICU, and reading anything that you can get your hands on related to critical care. Even if the offer is no longer available, just remember the previous information that I have given you. Also, the grass is not greener on the other side...continue to apply and shadow in units. Good luck!
