  1. Hi, Does anyone work here or looked into working here? I am working right now as a new grad in cali and am relocating in August. Just wanted to see if anyone knew about new grad opportunities, particularly for NICU :nuke:
  2. HI! Funny this is the first post I read. I am in Cali too and graduated in December. I am relocating to Arizona (my fiance and I already bought a home to be done in August) and looking into hospitals as well. I am not sure where you are going/looking...but the pay seems pretty similar throughout. Most places I have contacted are between $25-$29/hr, they have nice shift differentials for nights, and some even have shift diff for weekends! I am looking into Banner Desert right now because I am in Queen Creek...but look into CHW hospitals as well, there is St. Joes as well as Mercy Gilbert. Scottsdale has a lot of hospitals as well, I think the mayo clinic is there, amongst others. Best of luck!!
  3. Still nothing. Although I noticed the last update on the BON site is the 28th, now its the 30th and still no updates! I also found out that my school had a delay in the transcripts because of an unusually high volume of requests so they sent them out late, could also be the reason for the hold up! I am still hopeful, the BON has only updated 3 times since taking my exam, so we'll see!! yes, RNLYSSA, I took mine the same day, thursday the 24th!

Hi, I currently work in Ca and our ratios on Telemetry are 4:1. I was just curious as to what, if any, ratios Az has. I am moving there in August, and people keep freaking me out that other states have NO ratios! Thanks in advance!
  5. I took mine on thursday the 24th and still nothing...then again the site hasnt yet updated for the date of today so we shall see. For me, it is likely a tie up on my transcripts from my school, apparently they are notorious for sending them in really late, hence delaying results. Mine shut off at 75, I am crossing my fingers, and will cross my toes for you too!! Let us know when you find out
  6. Hi, I just graduated from Moorparks program and it is an amazing program. We had 3 students join us in semester 2 who left Ventura for various reasons. I cant speak personally about Ventura because I never went there, I do know that they provide more opportunities for your preceptorship in specialty areas, but as far as how they run their program I have no clue. I can however speak for Moorpark. I was very involved in their student nurses association and did a lot with students, staff, and instructors. Moorpark has a very high passing rate for the state boards, and they do a great job of preparing you. Maybe get in touch with a counselor at Ventura and see if their pass rate is similar. After 2 years in the program, I miss it already and I just graduated 2 weeks ago! If you have any specific questions, PM me and I will try to answer them. Best of luck!

Hi, I am new to this website. I live in California right now and will be relocating to Arizona (Queen Creek) in August. I was just curious if anyone has an idea/estimate of what the average starting pay is for an RN in Arizona. My fiance and I are trying to figure out what our projected income will be so we can figure out how much we can afford housing wise. I am looking into Banner as well as Childrens in Phoenix (NICU). Thanks so much!
