  1. Thanks for the reply! The school sent me a list of books that I will be needing for my 44 week program back in Oct. The only thing that was on there for Medical Terminology was (Medical Terminology in a Flash: An Interactive Flashcard Approach by Author Eagle), no textbook. Was just curious what books or sites I could check out since what they are using seems to be just a flashcard approach. The class starts Jan 8 and is two days a week for 2 1/2 hours a day, the final exam is on Feb 4, and then I start my other classes in March 5 days a week for 8 hours a day. I am supposed to be getting a textbook and workbook on Essentials of A&P, and about 10 other books, but just flashcard approach for terminology. Thanks again for the reply, maybe I can find some books at my local library on body parts/systems. Think that would be easier for me as well. Angel
  2. Hello All, New to site and to nursing. Starting spring semester at Hannah Mullins LPN school here in Ohio in March of 2008. But in January I have to take a Medical Terminology course. I was a CNA for 8 years in a nursing home, so I do know some of the jargon. I was hoping I could get some info from anyone on here to help me brush up and maybe get a head start on some studying over the holidays before I start. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I love this site and it's already given me some help on making the decision to become a nurse. I hope to get a job at one of the local nursing homes when I graduate, don't want to work at a hospital, love old people. Then I plan on going back part-time while I am working to get my RN. Thanks to all of you out there. Angel
