Congrats to your decision to go to nursing school. I am a mom to three beautiful young children and I will be graduating this December...only 22 more days! I went back to school when my youngest was 10 months. It has been very hard, but I kept myself focused on the end and have made it this far with LOTS of help from my husband and brother. My 2 older children had a hard time at first since I was a SAHM for all of their life but gradually adjusted to accept it. We all have had our days and have needed to cry or just do something special together to get through a tough time. One thing that helped my kids was for us to make a "Nursing School Calender" that was from start to finish and each day we marked off the day that passed. Now they are counting down and know exactly when I will be done. We have talked about me working as a nurse and what it will be like and they know it will be ALOT better than me going to school. I will be working 7on 7off 8 hour shifts. Good Luck with your upcoming adventure!
