oops sorry i thought i mentioned that - he also works in ICU. Hence the issue.

I have one small problem re Triipler - I like ICU and am an RN my husband is an LVN US Army at Tripler so I can't work in ICU at Tripler. I could look at other units though of course. Thank you for your help it's much appreciated.

Hi there, or aloha I'm hoping all went well for you moving to Oahu and job hunting etc. I am married to a LVN (Army) who is currently stationed in Tripler and am looking to move there soon myself. Have heard that Oahu is experiencing a Nurse shortage so I expect you shouldn't have any difficulties. I am currently going through the transfer of my credentials from Australia to the US so I am going through a much longer process than yourself. Have more info about Oahu re nursing if you would like. cheers

I have worked as an RN in at least 3 different countries now and I agree that only NS should ever be run with RPBC.

Hi all, I know that this is a difficult area however - I am an Aussie RN who is looking to finally be working in the USA after completing the gruelling immigration, and CGFNS (foreign nurses) credentialling process. I have about 12 years experience both as a nurse manager, clinical nurse specialist and also some ICU experience which I would like to increase. My husband is posted to Oahu Hawaii and now that I can earn some $ I may be able to afford to move there with him. Can anyone tell me what hourly rate I should expect from my agency as I have been warned that they will try to pay as little as possible.
