  1. Houston is great if you like 100% humidity and 95 to 100 degrees in the months of June thru September. Fall and Spring are great here though. Winter is pretty mild.
  2. Hi: Other areas to consider are the Clear Lake/Friendswood area which is far SE of downtown Houston. Clear Lake Regional Hospital is nice. Sugar Land would be a great area to consider also. You might want to look at the Cypress area which is out NW of Houston along Highway 290.
  3. I am getting married and moving to Michigan by the end of the year. I would like information on hospitals in the Detroit/Southfield area. My specialty is NICU. I've never lived anywhere except TX so I need information on how to get my Michigan license. Also what's the weather really like in Michigan??
  4. I am currently working agency 1 day/wk and part-time staff at a hospital. I really love agency and my goal is to work agency permanently. I want to get away from the politics, mandatory meetings, working holidays, and i want more $$$........:)
  5. I have had the same problem you had with so-called self-scheduling. Self-scheduling is a joke....management will plug u in where they need u.....Well I solved my problem by going part-time ( 2 days a week) and working agency. In the near future I am going per-diem and work more for my agency to have better control over my life.......AGENCY---THE WAY TO GO!
