hello i just got a new job about 30min away from where i live.i have only be there two days.the director of nurse had a meeting with the staff ,and told us the state has been there and and did not go good. the next time they find something they are closing they are having to pay 21,000 a day for the things they found.so what was a big eye opener.they when we are in the hall it only one person for 40 pt they staff said we hope you stay but it's like this all the time.the staff a girl told me people come and leave when they want.The people in the office don't even talk to the pt they will be in their wheelchair and they will say hi but the office worker don't say anything.how do they think they are going to stay open the head person is tell the family that they are going to build a new one as soon as they get the money a family member told me he has been say that for about six year now.i feel i need to go and find something else.i wanted the 10 to 6 shift and they told me they don't need anyone for that so i took the 2 to 10 shift.they haired five of us at one time the head nurse ask what shift do you want i told her 2 to 10 two other girls ask do you have the 10 to 6 and she said you got it .i ask they for it when i feel out the app and they told me only have 2 to 10.i don't know please help me what would you do.

Did any of you work and go to school.anyone work in a nursing home while going to school.

Hey i wanted to know .How long after your exam did you go to work.Did you wait for the mail are did you go and look for a job as soon as you could.I am looking for thr night shift all i am getting is the 2-10 please let me know.

;)well this is greysa32 and i wanted to tell you i passed i got handwashing and rom on arm, pericare on man,bed to wheel chair.talking to hearing loss pt.i all most miss up on the belt to move to the wheelchair i had it on right but it didn't look right i keep changing it after i finish she said i had it right the first time but i passed everything thank you for talking to me before your test.:balloons:

Hello everyone is hope that you had a great week.I am taking my skill state test on Tuesday and I sure as you know you start to think of the skill that you are going to draw.I need to ask this I know it's just me, and i know i will be fine I am just coving my self.How do you put on a diaper without touching the old one.Can someone Help me. When you do the shower do you get then undress are then ready for you to shower.Handwashing you wash your hand in the room comming in and out right.I think i am just reasureing myself. Can you tell me what skill you were hoping not to get.Thank you have a great weekend.

i want to thank you. I am taking 4 classes and have 3 kids i told myself it will be great at the end for me and my family.

what classes are you taking in the fall and how many.I am going to be taking my state test for cna in two weeks.I want to work the night shift so i can finish school,and be there for my family.has anyone out there doing the same thing.

for the state test i don't want to get bed making.that the one i feel i will not do good with.I have done one in class.Our teacher said we will not use everything thats in the book on how to make a bed.So i thinking what order would the sheets go .please help.

i know i have the same thing with blood pressure we did it one time for 20min thats it i don't think i have it down.
